Topic:
From Book to Brand: The inside scoop on publishing options and guerilla
marketing.
Publishing offers many options today. Ross Bernstein has taken advantage of
many of the options and, as a result, is a best-selling author of almost 50
books; his latest is I Love Brett Favre; I Hate Brett Favre. He’s appeared on
thousands of local and national television and radio programs, including CNN
and ESPN, as well as in the pages of the Wall Street Journal, New York Times
and USA Today.
Ross has published with Triumph Books, an imprint of Random House; with Nodin
Press, a well-regarded local small publisher; and also with his own publishing
company (http:www.bernsteinbooks.com).
He’s done it all. He knows the pro’s and con’s of each and will talk about
them. But he also knows that marketing is as important as the writing, and he
will tell what he did, from his first book (that’s a story in itself!) to the
Brett Favre book (the idea came from a children’s book) to make sure his books
are noticed.
